Untold Boscombe is a new locative community storytelling platform curated by poet/writer Paul Hawkins.
The aim is to provide an interactive web platform to allow those who live or have lived in Boscombe to tell their own stories of Boscombe life; from the past or the present. Another aim is to give a space for positive, uplifting stories across different types of digital media; website, mobile phone apps, audio, video, on tablets like the I-Pad, e-books, kindle and across social media outlets. Untold Boscombe will also exist in more traditional print formats of broadsheets and pamphlets.
We are now open for your submissions of stories about Boscombe life past and present for the publication of a book entitnled Untold Boscombe. These submissions can take the form of image, artwork, collage, poems, short stories, reportage… in fact all forms will be considered by editor Paul Hawkins. Untold Boscombe is due to be published in March 2014.
